Apple Cinnamon Energy Bites

 

Looking for something a little different to snack on? These energy bites will become your new favorite to have in the house!

 

Ingredients
  • 2½ cups Nutristore Apples
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 - 3 tbsp water

15 - 20 minutes

24+ Bites

Directions

  1. Add freeze dried apples to a food processor and pulse until fine powder
  2. Add oats and pulse a few time so some oats are chopped
  3. Remove chopped into a bowl and add almonds to the food processor and pulse until finely chopped
  4. Add almonds and remaining ingredients and mix in the bowl. Add only 1 tbsp of water at a time as needed to help it stick together
  5. Roll into 1 - 1 ½ inch balls
  6. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week

Notes: *Adding a dash of salt when mixing elevates too
