Sausage Minestrone Soup

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Nutristore Sausage Crumbles
  • 5 cups water
  • 4 tsp Chicken Bouillon
  • 3 medium carrots peeled and sliced
  • 3 celery stalks, diced
  • 12 oz tomato paste
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp basil
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 can garbanzo beans, drained
  • 1 can green beans, drained
  • 8 oz pasta, cooked and drained
  • Nutristore Freeze Dried Cheese (optional)

Preparation

  1. Rehydrate Nutristore Sausage crumbles by adding ¾ cup of warm water to 1 cup sausage. Let sit 10 minute, stir, then let sit 5 minutes until tender.
  2. While waiting for your sausage cook and drain your pasta.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer. Add your cooked and drained pasta and your sausage crumbles.
  4. Serve topped with choice of Nutristore cheese if desired.
